Sellers FAQs
Sellers have to be approved by management before they can post items for sale. The first step in becoming a seller is to fill out the "Seller Application" located in the "Help Section".
Seller's fees are located under the "Auction Fees" in the Help Section.
The Reserve price is the absolute minimum dollar amount the Seller will accept for an item. Sellers can set the Reserve amount when the item is posted for auction. All bids will be automatically refused until a bid is posted that is greater then the reserve price.
Buyers are notified after placing their bid if it is below the Reserve price. If a Buyer's maximum bid is greater than the Reserve price, the Reserve is automatically met and that user is the high bidder.
Up to 10 images can be uploaded when posting an item for sale. In the items description you can also link to images hosted on another server. Please note that if you link images to a server outside the "www.gearheadauction.com" domain buyers might get a security notice (under certain circumstances) that the SSL (https) is not valid. Please email support@gearheadauction.com if you need image hosting or local disk storage.
Items are listed when you sumbit your post. Scheduled posting are started at the time you selected when posting the item.
Yes, you can make changes to your listing after the auction has started. If the item has received a bid you are limited to what information you can change.

Credit Card (VISA / MasterCard / American Express / Discover)
Company Check
Postal Money Order

If needed login to your account.
On the left side menu in your "My Account" section locate the "Account" sub menu. In the "Account" sub menu click on the "Account Details".
After clicking on the "Account Details" link your account information will be displayed in the main body of the web page.
Located on the right side of the main body is a button labeled "Change". Click this button.
On this page you can change your account information.
