All the sellers at gearheadauction.com are highly qualified companies or individuals that have a proven track record in either "E-Commerce" or "Brick & Mortar" sales.

We are focused on making gearheadauction.com "Seller Friendly" & "Buyer Safe". We will never ask a seller to change their business model. This site was opened because other online auction sites decided they would force sellers to use what they think is a correct business model for their company. How can any company that offers an internet auction service, who has never sold or shipped a product, tell someone that may have been selling a product for years how they should run their company. At gearheadauction.com sellers are allowed to accept payment for goods in the format that best suits their business model and buyers are allowed to make payments in a fashion that they feel most comfortable. There is no "Holy Grail" payment system that works for everyone all the time. We feel that by providing a service
where the sellers are prequalified allows buyers to purchase items with confidence.
A bit about us: We first launched gearheadauction.com in 1999. There where quite a few auction sites back then and after a year or two there were only a few survivors. We closed gearheadauction.com and like everyone else, we fell in line, and went with one of the large remaining sites. As time went on and corporate boardrooms made more and more decisions and changes, the personal touch seemed to be lost. There were more rules to abide by and prices continued to rise. Finally we felt this all needed to change and it was time to relaunch gearheadauction.com. Our goal is to have a friendly site that reminds us of the old school "Swap Meet" days where there was trust, and we closed a deal with a handshake. We also wanted to make the site less expensive to for all to use. With all that said, please join us at the new gearheadaucton.com.
